This past week at Grace Baptist Church has been full of blessings and answers to prayer. The VBS had record numbers and several children made professions of faith. The VBS was centered around a 'Jerusalem Market Place' theme which, as well as teaching the children what the Lord did for them at Calvary, helped them to imagine what life was like when Jesus was on earth. The VBS took place in the evenings and each of the mornings and afternoons were spent preparing for the night ahead and doing some further door-to-door. Mrs Sager, the pastor's wife, worked tirelessly and was ably assisted by many of the church family put in long hours and lots of hard work. However, this would all have come to nought if the hand of the Lord had not blessed in a mighty way and we can testify of His presence throughout the week.
We are also glad that Jess Lane, one of our team members, is out of hospital and back with the team. Her surgery at the beginning of the week went smoothly and was very successful. Please pray for her as she tries to take next week and fully recuperate- this will not be an easy task for Jess!!
This weekend will be our last at Hudson View Baptist Church in Yonkers. We are so thankful for the opportunity to minister here over the last 6 weekends and praise God for the work He allowed us to do with the youth. Please pray for Jonny as he speaks to the young people that the Lord will speak through him to each of their hearts. Our time here has passed so quickly but we praise the Lord for the opportunity to share the gospel with the youth here.
